Jeff Osborne, reflecting on old GUI technology, asks whether we are “what you see is what you get” Christians. We cannot be two-faced and double-minded (James 1:8). We cannot use words carelessly (Psalm 12:1-3), realizing that faith without works is dead (James 2:14-20). Rahab embraced God and was considered among the faithful. We need to behave as Christians, not using filthy or corrupt language, not being weary in well-doing or good works, but helping and serving if we are able or have the means—overcoming evil with good. People should see a loving, caring person in us.
