Ed Costanza, focusing on the topic of redemption, suggests that Almighty God has put a tremendous amount of thought and planning into the concept of redemption, as is reflected by the precise requirements for redeeming the firstborn in the Old Testament, and the equally precise redemption of all of us from our calling through the sanctification process. As God redeemed our forebears in the Passover and the Exodus, God likewise redeems us.
