Sorry for the problem. Thanks for your patience.

Dave Havir reminds us that although we should be thankful every day of the year, we should be especially thankful at this time of the year for our physical and spiritual liberty, relationships, and blessings which have accrued to Israel because of Abraham’s obedience. We need to pray for our leaders, even if they are wicked and evil, that they would allow us a peaceful and tranquil life. God is sovereign; the evil that happens in the government may be allowed by God. We do not have to like what is going on, but we should realize that God is in charge, and even the evil will ultimately turn out for good. While our country seems to be going into bondage, we need to be thankful for what we have while resisting the enticements by our government into bondage. We have been called to liberty, but having a responsibility to live within the law, realizing that law-breaking comes with consequences. We need to be thankful for our relationships (friends, family, and our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ), realizing that not all people are blessed with good relationships. Our most important relationship is with the Father and the Son. As we cultivate our relationships, we must include singing and inspiring music.
