Dave Havir, citing Leviticus 26:11-12, in which God promises that He will walk among us, suggests that the Feast Days provide an opportunity for us to renew our relationship with God. God, not men or church organizations, determine where He will place His name. Brethren are keeping the Feast all over the world, all living according to God’s laws and ordinances. Jesus and Paul kept the Feast in Jerusalem. Jesus Christ told the woman of Samaria that the location of the place of worship is secondary to worshipping in spirit and truth. People can make or break their Feast wherever they are depending upon their relationship with God Almighty. In the future, the New Jerusalem will come down from Heaven and the Tabernacle will be with men, enabling an expansion of the family of God, when pain and suffering will be a thing of the past. In the meantime, we are the temple of God’s Holy Spirit and the habitation of god. God is “ tabernacling” with you at this Feast, walking among you.
