Stan West - Are You A Clutch Hitter?

Stan West, using the analogy of life as a game of baseball, suggests that there is always a need for a clutch hitter. God filled this position many times for our forebears as He parted the Red Sea, provided manna, and drew water out of barren rocks, even though the children of Israel continually demonstrated their thanklessness and faithfulness. Eventually, for their faithlessness and rebellion, God had to severely punish. In our spiritual journey, there will be many times we will need a clutch hitter. Will we fulfill this responsibility as these times come up as had Caleb and Joshua? Our lives can at times be as complicated as baseball, requiring exploiting small advantages steadily over the long haul.
