Bernie Monsalvo, focusing on Revelation 12, warns us that in these end times Satan the devil will make war against God’s saints. Hellish principalities have unleashed a vicious demonic assault on God’s remnant and the testimony of Jesus Christ. The war zones have varied characteristics, from the blind hatred expressed in Muslim nations to the secular indifference and unbelief expressed in European countries. In the United States, Satan’s weapons are materialism, sensuality, and the love of pleasure. Demonic forces have overtaken the universities, main-stream churches, the high courts, and government, as perversions such as homosexuality have become accepted as normal. Thankfully, we already know the end of the story, when every thought will be brought into captivity under the power of Jesus Christ. God’s saints are embroiled in a private, silent war against our own flesh and carnal natures, going through seasons of heaviness which include financial, family, emotional, and health problems. We are forced to cry out to God for relief. Thankfully, God knows our frame and will pity and strengthen us.
