Bernie Monsalvo - The Purpose of Man

Bernie Monsalvo ponders the purpose of man after God already determined what Satan’s fate would be. Satan’s fate was already adjudicated before mankind was created. Why has God delayed Satan’s sentence for approximately 7000 years? Mankind was created for the purpose of replacing Satan and his angels, demonstrating God’s righteousness and His capacity to forgive and reconcile His creation to Himself through the sacrifice of His Son, providing salvation to those who yield to His calling. The fallen angels had underestimated God's capacity to forgive. God demonstrated His love by creating a system where blood would atone for sin for frail man. Angels are able to observe and learn from mankind’s experience. One purpose of mankind is to take over some of the jobs that the fallen angels were previously created to fulfill. Through the creation of man, God was systematically replacing what Satan and his fallen angels had destroyed. Mankind has been ultimately created for the glory of God, unless we foolishly use our free moral agency to follow the example of Satan and his fallen angels. We are God’s workmanship, designed to walk in good works.
