David Maas contends that we spend our entire life in a spiritual construction zone, sometimes causing us not to see the progress that we have made or are making in our sanctification progress. We must trust the master contractor, God Almighty, to put us through the right life-experiences, shaping us to be polished living stones in His Temple. Human beings are often too short-sighted to distinguish progress from chaos. The various corporate entities in which we currently find ourselves do not constitute God’s temple, but merely the rock quarries from which God the Father and Jesus Christ can chisel out our imperfections, making us ready for placement in God’s Temple.

Abraham * Conversion * Debris * Disaster * Noah * Progress * Salvation * Scaffolding * Setbacks * Spiritual progress * Unanswered prayers
