Stan West - Who Is In Control

Stan West, reflecting on the current events in the Middle East, and asking the poignant question, “Who is really in control?” affirms that God Almighty reveals the secret things, and promotes and deposes leaders. The outcome of some of these tumultuous events has us scratching our heads as to God’s overall plan and purpose. Christ did mention that if one aspired to be in charge, he must become a servant. As leaders of their families, husbands must have a humble servant attitude with authority administered in love. Sometimes when horrendous things happen in our lives, we have many questions, but few answers, prompting us to ask Our Heavenly Father many frank and bold questions beginning with “why” but asking for His comfort and strength until the answer unfolds, nullifying the sting of death. In the mean time, we must vigorously reaffirm our family bonds with expressions of love, understanding that God is in control.
