Leon Sexton, acknowledging that world events are ratcheting up, warns us that we must become wide awake concerning the impending arising of King of the South, a sinister caliphate of virulent Islam terrorism. Daniel 11 discusses the tug of war between the western and eastern factions which will continue until the end of time. The Islamic Caliphate, commencing in 632 AD, allegedly represented God on earth, uniting a culture of Islam. It was curtailed on the surface by the ruler Ataturk, but the idea has simmered under the surface to this day, threatening dominance of northern Africa and Europe. The Dome of the Rock symbolizes for the Muslim world, Islam’s dominance over Judaism and Christianity. The Muslims have always wanted to conquer Europe, and nearly succeeded, except for the heroic efforts of Charles Martel, Charlemagne’s father. The goal of the King of the North is the recreation of the Holy Roman Empire (based in Europe and North Africa); the goal of the King of the South is the creation of a Muslim Caliphate. Both kings desire the same territory. Babylon is currently the headquarters for NATO. Only the prophecies of Daniel can help us put these pieces together.
