Ron Feaker, reflecting on the deeply felt joys we have from keeping the Sabbath, marvels that the world at large does not have the spiritual insight to understand the blessings they are missing. When mankind makes the decisions as to what it right and wrong in his own eyes, trouble generally follows. The person without the Spirit of God cannot comprehend that God's Word is the irrefutable source of truth. God has given gifts to those He has called to enable them to serve the entire Body of Christ. Our affirmations and actions must have their source in God's Word or they will come to nothing. God's Word resembles rain, bringing life in all areas it touches, producing spiritual fruit as it mingles with God's Holy Spirit. The greatest blessing that God has given us is turning us from our sins and forgiving us. In the future, the blind (both spiritually and physically) will be healed and made whole spiritually. We need to be sure that the god of this world does not deceive or tempt us to give up the spiritual insight God has given us, realizing there are many prophecies which are yet to be fulfilled, requiring spiritual insight to put the pieces together.
