Neil McIver, anticipating the future harvests—the millennial harvest, and the far more vast harvest of the Last Great Day—reminds us that God is often pictured as a farmer, waiting patiently for His crop to mature, enabling the full harvest. God is preparing for a bumper crop.  We should, with our Elder Brother Jesus Christ, desire this time of harvest, considering the harvesting of it as our food. When Jesus returns, the harvest will begin with the dead in Christ and the rest of the first fruits and conclude with the great multitude and the rest of the dead in the Great White Throne Judgment. We realize that the basic spiritual hunger and thirst of all mankind can only be satisfied with the rivers of living water, symbolic of God's Holy Spirit. We want to be in the first harvest, bringing our sheaves to the Master. The sermon concludes with a video depicting the great harvest and the establishing of God's Kingdom.
