Bernie Monsalvo, affirming that we, as the Israel of God prepare very carefully for the Feast of Tabernacles, learning how to make a relationship with God, keeping the covenant He has established with us. The reason we observe the Feast is that we want God’s statutes and judgments to be written in our hearts. With every Feast we see a different facet in the diamond. God owns these Feasts, but we can keep them for our benefit. Until we are gathered in by God, we are only pilgrims and sojourners, dwelling in temporary shelters. The sacrifices were added for the cumulative sins of Israel. The Feast of Tabernacles pictures a thousand year reign of Jesus Christ, accompanied by the gathered- in saints, having been resurrected to immortal life in the first resurrection. God has crowned us with glory and honor. This Feast depicts our status during the Millennium. We need to learn to fear our God, enjoying the company of our brethren. The Feast of tabernacles looks forward to the Millennial rule of Jesus Christ, when everything will b e subject to Almighty God.
